Building on the Foundation
On November 14, 2005 New Tecumseth Council approved its new strategic plan, "Building on the Foundation" replacing the Town's first strategic plan, "Foundation for the Future", adopted by the Town in 1991. Building on the Foundation, developed through an extensive public consultation process, includes a vision, mission, objectives and strategic actions and communicates desired outcomes to all of the Town's stakeholders.
Building on the Foundation will be the cornerstone of the Town's commitment to providing accountable and responsive local government providing a framework for short and long-term planning and fiscal decision-making.
