UTILITY OPERATOR (2)
(WASTEWATER FACILITIES)

The Town of New Tecumseth requires a skilled individuals capable of working in a team environment to fill two newly added positions of Utility Operator in our Wastewater Facilities. Duties of this position include but are not limited to performing regularly scheduled operations and maintenance, carrying out duties to ensure that the facilities and systems are operating effectively, performing preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment and facilities, collecting samples and perform routine lab tests.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Ministry of Environment OIT licenses in Wastewater Operations and willing and capable of working towards Class II.
• Candidate must also be willing to pursue licences in Water Operations, once Wastewater classifications are achieved.
• Must be prepared to take on call rotation.
• Class ‘G’ Driver’s License in good standing

SALARY RANGE
:
$21.23 - $27.75 per hour dependent on qualifications
