Parking Tickets
Parking tickets are issued for infractions to the Town of New Tecumseth Parking By-law No. 93-128.
If you receive a parking ticket:
- METHOD OF PAYMENT:
a) Pay Online at www.paytickets.ca
b) Phone: 705-435-3900 or 905-729-0057 using an accepted credit card.
c) Mail: Sign the Voluntary Payment Option and mail the ticket with your cheque (do not send cash). Write the Parking Infraction Notice Number on the front of your cheque, payable to the Town of New Tecumseth. Send to the below address.
d) In person: Sign the Voluntary Payment Option and pay by cash, cheque, debit or an accepted credit card at the below address.
- PAYMENT OPTIONS:
a) Voluntary payment within 10 days of the infraction.
b) Payment of set fine within 15 days of the infraction.
c) Payment after conviction but before plate denial.
- TRIAL OPTION - MUST NOT BE MAILED:
a) You or your agent must attend in person at the office within the times and days shown below to file a notice of intention to appear in court.
b) You or your agent must bring the original ticket with you.
c) You cannot set a trial date by mail.
d) For your convenience and to save time, call the office in advance for an appointment.

Unassumed Roads
The developer or builder posts these signs in new subdivisions, as they are responsible for the maintenance of the roads, sidewalks, etc., until the municipality assumes them. However, all services and by-laws still apply to the subdivision and are subject to enforcement by the police and municipal law enforcement officers.

Parking Restrictions
In order to facilitate street maintenance including snow clearing and/or removal, parking is prohibited, pursuant to By-Law 93-128, s.10, on all streets between 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. effective from November 1st to April 30th. Vehicles parked on the streets between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. will be ticketed and should it be necessary to remove the vehicle, the owner will be charged with the cost of removal. This prohibition is in effect whether it is snowing or not. The Town will not be liable for any damage done by street maintenance equipment to vehicles parked on Town streets.
Outside of the above-mentioned dates, a five-hour parking restriction is in effect, unless otherwise signed.
